The width of the shades will be 2/5" smaller for a tight inside fit. The actual size of the shades is 18 3/5" W x 36" H. Select the size that matches or is closest to your window width for inside mounting. For instance, if your windows are 30" wide, order 30" or slightly less for inside installation. For outside mounting, we suggest ordering (2-4) inches wider than your window width for improved coverage. For example, if your window width is 30", ordering size 34" would work for outside mounting.
